James Sellar, on Tuesday, April 15th, 1958.

The late Mr. Seller, who was born on October 25th, 1879, was the son of the late Charles and Margaret Ann Sellar of Wheat- ley River where he had always resided. Robert and his wide, the former Ada MacCoubney of New Glasgow, celebrated their 55th, wedding anniversary on Decem- ber 311st, 1957.

Robert was a man of sterling character, a devoted husband, a wonderful father and a friend to all. Young and old admired,

loved and respected him. . He was kindly, genial, friendly, thoughntlul and most hospitable.

The funeral, which was largely attended in spite of bad spring travelling, was held on Thurs- day afternoon, April 17th, with a short service at the home. This was followed by service at

Those left to mourn his very sudden passing are his sorrowing widow, his only son, ’llheo, who with his wife Doris and family, reside at the homestead, his only daughter Lucy Ferne, (Mrs. Harry Croziei', Darnley), twelve grandchildren, one of whom is Rev. Theo Crozier and eight great-grandchildren, also two brothers, Athington .of Winsloe, and Willard of Dean, N. S. Three other brothers and one sister predeceased him several years ago.

The funeral was under the dir- ection of Mr. Andrews, Hunter River.

The pall bearers were: James Wares, Reigh Barrett, Lockisley Bowen, Orville Sellar, Foster Sellar and Nelson Stevenson.

He was tenderly laid to rest in Wheatley River Cemetery.
