Piping Plover - 1 pr and 4 chicks at Black Pond on June 30 (FRC); 10 on an isolated beach near Hamilton on Aug. 30 (TC).

Killdeer - 1 at Heartsville on June 2,and 3 at South Melville on June 15 (JDM); 12+ on Bungay Road on Aug. 23 (FRC).

Bonaparte's Gull - 3 in Sherwood on Aug. 29 (JDM). Common Tern - seen at Hillsborough Bridge until at least Sept. 13 (JDM).

Mournin Dove - 14 through the summer at Indian River (seemed to have been three hatchings, young still present to at least Sept. 4) (TC); 1 at Green Meadows on Sept. 13 (JUN).

Black-billed Cuckoo - 1 on Whim Road in early July (CT).

Ruby—throated Hummingbird - 2 ad and 4 young in Whim Road (CT).

Belted Kingfisher — 6 to 8 (including 4 young) summering in Indian River (TC). Common Flicker - 4 nesting in Indian River (TC); 7 in Kensington on Aug. 12 (FRC). Downy Woodpecker - 2 summering in Indian River (TC); 1 f at Mt. Herbert Aug. 1 (FRC). Hairy Woodpecker - 2 in Indian River through the summer (TC).

Black—backed Woodpecker - 1 at Donagh on Aug. 22 (JDM).

Eastern Phoebe - 1 in St. Charles on June 7 (AM).

Eastern Kingbird - 1 summering in Indian River (TC); 1 pr at Alma Aug. 18 (FRC). Tree Swallow - 3 at Deroche Point on May 27 (JDM).

Barn Swallow - first seen in Donagh on May 7, 3 there on Sept. 4 (JDM).

Common Crow - a very small individual about two-thirds normal size in Hunter River on Sept. 10 (JDM).

Black-capped Chickadee - 4 summering in Indian River (TC); 5 in Donagh on Aug: 22 (JDM).

Boreal Chickadee - 4 imm seen in Indian River during the summer (TC).

American Robin - 24 summering in Indian River (TC); flocks passing through Spring- valein a southerly direction on Aug. 31 and large numbers (including many immatures) in the same area on Sept. 4 feeding on mountain ash (GGH).
