EXPLOSION AND FIRE WRECK FARM SHED

A shed containing several drums of gasoline was destroyed by fire at noon yesterday en the farm of Eldon Drummond, South Freetown. However the house,

which was located nearby end a garage were saved through the efforts of the R.C.A.F. Firemen who rushed their pumper to the scene and rendered invaluable

service. A few apple trees near the shed were also destroyed. The explosion afd fire occurred when a son, Irwin was pumping gas from one of the containers.
