There passed away to her eternal reward on Sunday, the 6th day or June i943, Mrs. Catherine Smith ,0! Middleton, P.E.Island, widow or ' the late Thomas Smith. Mrs. Smith ldied at the home of her dauﬂh- ter, Mrs. Stephen Johnston, who tenderly cared for her during her last illness- The deceased had been lin failing health for some mOHtIIS lprior to her death; but her dis-

itlon to be cheerful and to ltnake light of her ills, lest |cause worry to those about her, had led her family to believe her {condition less serious than it W118, so that the end came as a consid- -erable shock to all. Mrs. Smith died as she had con- .sistently lived—-ir1 peace witir her God, whom she had so faithfully served in life, nnd in perfect re- conciliation to His holy Will. "The will be done" was the constant _pra_vcr of her sztitttly soul.
