W.M.S./Gorden Meeting 1

The Afternoon Auxiliary of the W.M.S. of Trinity United Church held their July-August meeting in the garden of Mrs. G. M. Avard. It was a beautiful day and a large number of mem- bers and guests were present. Miss Mabel Newsome had charge of the devotions and took as her theme “Jesus and the out of doors”.

'Ilhe July meeting of the Alex- andra W.I. met at the home of Mrs. Wallace and Mrs. Glendon Brehaut. The meeting opened ’with a piano solo by Glenda Bre- ihaut. Roll call was responded to by a household list. There were five members and one visitor present.

The minutes of the last meeting .were read and approved. Sick committee reported one get-well card. sent. Correspondence was read and disposed of.

At the close a picnic lunch was served. Mrs. L.W. Saunders and Mrs. W.E. Aitken poured tea and members of the Auxiliary served.

The minutes of the prelious meeting were read and approv- ed. There was no business from these minutes. All correspondence was read and dealt with accord- ingly. The treasurer thengave a very, favorable report.
