Meprratep Fravp on Unperwrirers. — Last Tuesday forenoon a most bungling attempt at fraud was brought to light on the premises of Messrs, M. Stewart & Co., of this town, under the following cit- cumstances. It appears that a person calling himself William McDonald, of P. E. Island, had ‘represented -o Mr. B. Wier, Commission Merchant, Halifax, that
