54-40 “Fight for Love”
54—40’s new album “Fight for Lovwe” is a new upbeat version of folky music.
This Album has some “just incredible tracks” like “Here in My House”,“Baby Have Some Faith”, “Miss You”, “Fight for Love”, “Over My Head”. This is a great listening album, it’s not exactly what you would call a party album, but then again if you wanta party album there is an excess of those on the market. It’s just good music.
A very solid album - Defi- nitely worth the money spent.
At Its Best!
I would recommend any body to buy this album. It has a ertain appeal to it, beat, great sound, a unique style that the music market has seemed to have lost,

The CIMN Interview
Craig Crmier, a DJ at CIMN Radio, spoke to Canadian record- ing _ artist Kim Mitchell on September 26. The following is an excerpt from that interview:
CIMN: When did you start playing guitar?
Mitchell: I think I was about 5 years old when I started play- ing guitar, and I started writing songs when I was about 21.
CIMN: Are you happy with your new album, “Rockland”?
Mitchell: No, I can’t stand it (Just Kidding). Yeah, I’m real happy with it. It’s a real learning experience when you record on al- bum and I still learn (something) each time. It’s a real education, recording an album, for any mu- sician ... My big focus in life right now is how well the band is play- ing. I don’t get into things like the album sales too much. I try not to think about that.
REVOLUTIONS
CIMN: Is that your real dad in the “Rock ’n Roll Duty” Video?
Mitchell: No, my dad is much more uglier than that. He doesn’t have a beard. That’s not my real dad although that is a real bar- tender. We actually got him out of a bar in Toronto.
CIMN: Do you get nervous before going on stage?
Mitchell: Absolutely!

Motley Crue “Dr Feelgood”
Motley Crue are back with an- other LP call “Dr. Feelgood”. If you have heard it, you know it reflects their “Shout at the devil’days. Produced by Bob Rock (Rock n’ Hyde), who also produced Aerosmith’s new LP,
features guest vocals such as, Bob Rok, Bryan Adams, Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Skid Row and Robin Zander and Rick Neilson (Cheap Trick) on it. “Dr. Feel- good” is the first single/video, and guitarist Mick Mars, proves he an still crank out heaviness on his guitars.
Although “Dr. Feelgood” has a sexual overtone on side 2, they’re still sticking to that “heavy” sound. “Time for a Change” is a regular Crue ballad and reminds me of “Home Sweet
Home” Watch for this to be re- leased as a single.
A couple of other songs that stand out. on that are “Rat- tlesnake Shake” (not Skid Rows song) and “Same ol’ Situation (SOS)”. As Motley Crue says,
“We’re still kikin ass!” In case you’re wondering, there are no Satanic messages. If you speed up the demonic voice , Mick Mars says,“Glad to see you, I’m Dr. Feelgood!”, that’s all. Check this LP out you may or may not like it.

“Requem’, the lead-off track, has
already been a big hit in Amer- ican dance clubs. Also destined to become huge hits are Kimbaley and Chinese Radio. The album is" more or less a continuous flow of hi-energy cuts and it practically forces you to get up and dance. The production is also secont-to— none. It is simply an album which pumps you up and is really alot of fun. A must. for dance fanatics!
