Decoration Day.—Yesterday was Deco- ration Day with the Oddfellows, and the gravesof the departed members of the Order were decorated in a becoming man- ner. The procession of the brethern was an imposivog one. The service at the graves was very impressive.

A Cextexartay Dies—Mrs Sarah Mc- Neil, a native of Cape Breton, died at East Boston recently, at the advanced age of 100 years. Her sight and hearing were remarkably good up to about two monthe ago, when she complainedof not feeling well. Last week she became very ill and rapidly weakened until the end came, She was buried at East Boston,
Potice Court.—This morning John Stewart was fined $5 or 30 days for fast driving. Vernon McIntyre, for being drunk and disorderly, was fired $5 or 30 days. The Jeseph-Ewing assault case was dismissed. James McNally, for being drunk and incapable, was fined $5 or 20 days. Charles Hoge n and Artemas Hyde, arraigned on a similar charge, were each finea $2 or 10.

Brers Wixs.—A late New York des- patch says: George Byers of Boston, (formerly of Charicttetown) and Frank Childs, of Chicago, colored heavyweights, fought 20 hard rounds at the Lenox A. C, Club to night. After taking sn awful lot of punishment, Childs held his ground until the limit was reached. Byers out- fought and outpointed him and was de- clared the winner.
