There were two hockey matches played in Hillsborough Riok last night, and the games wert witnessed by one of the largest gather'uge of the season. The Abhegweite of Charlottetown, met and de- feated the Stars of Summerside, the acore when time was called standing 8 to 0 in favor of the home team. In the match between the second Victorias and the St. Dunstan’s team) the points were more evenly divided, the Vice. having three to theircredit and their oppovents two when the game closed.

The game tetween the Abbies and Stars was called at five minotes after eight, Mr. James Sullivan maoipulating the referee’s whistle.
