The Bible reading by the Bishop of Nova Scotia in St. Paul’s yesterday after~ noon, at 4p. m.,was largely attended. The subject was the chastisement of God. Many were much helped by the better understanding of a fact in life which is so dark tothe world,
The evening service wascrowded. The text was “jThine eve is everywhere, holding the evil ,and the goed.” It wasa very wonderful sermon and must have brought a blessing to many.
