Henry Robertsou, Missionary Superintendent of the Presbyterian Chu ch for the North- Vest, will address a public meetmg in St. James Church. on Wednesday evening next, 28th inst., at 7 39 o clock, on the work of the Presbyterian Church in thas new country. Mr. Robertson, having hee. for several years the able and successful minister of Knox Church, Winnipeg, is thoroughly familiar with the matter of which he is to treat ; and having the confidence of the General Assem- bly, whose commission he bears, his state- ments and aims may be implicitly relied on. The meeting is to be attended by several members of the Presbytery outside of the city, and by a namber of¥ influential gentle- men in it. The general public are cordially invited to attend.

For any meteoric stone seen to fall in the United States this year, $50 is offered, if not les» than two ounces in weight.
