We call he attention of our -readers to the Adver- tizement in this day’s paper of Messrs. J. Le Page and A. McNeill. We attended the examination of Mr. Le Page’s School in August last, and then expressed our opinion of its character and efficiency. It must be ob- vious, that ina Town with a population so large as in this, more Schools than have a fvoting at present, are necessary. We have no doubt, therefore, that Messrs. Le Page and McNeill will meet with warm and gener- ous support. We congratulate those, who are desirous of their childrens’ acquiring a good English Education, upon having secured to them the present favourable op- portunity, and wish the Masters of the Seminary every success,

Although we intimated in our last No. our intention to publish this week the remainder of the correspon- dence on hand, we are obliged to defer it for another week—the news brought by the English and Colonial Mails having engrossed the whole of our space, to the

EDUCATION, Kent Street Seminary.

MR. J. LE PAGE respectfully intimates to

the public of Charlottetown, that he has removed his School from its former site to Mr. Jury’s Building. Kent Street, where, in connexion with Mr. A. McNeill, he will continue the business of instruction as heretofore, Messrs. Le Page & McNeill take this opportunity of expressing their thanks to those who have supported them so liberally hitherto; and now—having eagaged and fitted up the commodious rcom in the above named Building, with an especial regard to the comfort and convenience of pupils--they look forward with confi- dence for a continuation of that support which ought ever to be awarded to those engaged in the responsible duties of imparting instruction to the young ;—a support which it shall be, at all times, their chief ambition to merit.
