From the vantage point of a Panther Sports fan last week end was a most pleasant one. Our football heroes won their fourth game of the season & our hockey gladiators skated off with two wins & top honours in the Panther Booster Club Invitational Tournament.

Gallant gained 105 yards in 12 carries-& Larry Gallant, 84 yards in 9. (We wonder ‘ how many will know our mean— ing when we comment that the Haches should be proud of Ernie & Larry.) Dal gained 178 yards through passes and |09 by Panther penalties but only 10 yards on the ground. This certainly says a lot for our defence which was really terrific, partic- ularly in the late stages when they succesfully ' frustrated two Dal series
