Harrison gave an interesting talk on the work accomplished at the 18th General Synod of the Church at England in Canada which was held in London, On- tario. early in September, and which heattended. Hugh John Fleming, Premier of New Brunswick, that he will be present and will ad- dress the annual meeting oi the Young Progressive Conservatives which will be held in Summerside on Wednesday, October 29th. This on which the annual meeting has been held in Summerside and all plans are now in readiness for the event. Mr. MacDonald said also that it is expected that Donal Hueston, national executive secre- tary, Ottawa, and Leon Balcer, president of the Y.P.C.'s oi Can- ads and R. R. The regular meeting of the Kehsington Town Council was held Tuesday evening with Mayor Walden Darrach in the chair and councillors Maoliean, Champion and Kennedy present. Bills passed for payment amounted to 5321.91.

The Kensingtcn Branch oi the Canadian Legion was given per- mission to erect a monument to fallen comrades on the Town square between the present Post Office and the Town Hall and to do the necessary grading.

The Girl Guides were given per- mission to hold a tag day for the Callow Weli'a.re League.
