-BPRING VALLEY FIRE - A ﬂre of an unknown origin mm. pletelv demolished all the (arm buildings of Mr. Andrew Tnplin, spring’ Vﬂlley. on ‘Thursday last at the noon hour. It was with Ireat difficulty that the dwelling w“ ""51 l5 1'- CB-"Bht several times. A noise. presumably the if-‘Bine in the Work shop, called the attention of the family from their midday meal. But a; it was known that no engine was run. hint. upon investigation the work shop was found to be a mass of flames. Mr. Tuplin suffered the loss of his workshop a few years s80. but it was rebuilt with all necessary equipment. Although a crowd gathered, including the fire brigade from Kenning- ton. the barn could not be saved. but the horses were saved. ‘Ihose included some from the neighbors who were assisting at the hay. All the machinery. including thresh- ing outfit was burned. Their household effects were moved to a new house adjoining. which they intended soon to occupy. as it was unsafe to in the one so near the ruins. c barn was new and up-to-date. and one of the largest
