Friends are very pleased that Mrs. Marshall Murphy has made such a splendid recovery from her treecnt illness and has been able to return to her home here after spending several weeks in the Prince Edward Island Hospital.

Mark Oatway of Freeland James Wagner. son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Wagner, also of Lot 11. took place at the Presbyterian Manse in Summerside on Friday, March 21st. The marriage was per- formed by Rev. J. Donald Macxay.

On Thursday evening. March 20th.. a very large crowd attended the hockey match at Mount Pleas- ant between the 0'Leary Atomics and the Mt. Pleasant Bombers. This was a very fast game and the last in the play-oif series between these two teams, the score being 9-2 in favour of the Bombers who have now won two of the three play-oif games with tho Atomics.

-In the passing of Mr. Theo M. Taylor. Granville, at the Prince County Hospital. suihinerside, P. 8.1.. on lab. 29th. the community lost one of its most. highly re- garded citluns at the use of 13 years. He had been A patient in the hospital for eight woekmwhere he had undergone two operations from which he had made good recovery and was awaiting favor- able weather when he suffered a sudden and fatal relapse.

The remains were transferred to the Dnvlson Funeral Home, Ken- slngton, and from there to his late . sldence. The funeral ser- vice was held In the North Gran- ville United Church on March 6th, with interment in the church cemetery. Service was conducted by Rev. W.B. McPhall assisted by Rev. W.1. Green. Pallbearers were Percy Hewett, Tupper Taylor. Colin Burt, John Burgoyne, Em- erson Matheson and Horace Taper.

Mr. Taylor was n son of the late Richard and Harriet Wedlock Taylor. He was twice married. his first wife being Ethel Jane Colley. He is survived by his widow, for- merly Emma Neill of North Mil- ton, and one brother Benjamin of North Granville and Bummerslde. Two elder brothers, Austin and David, died it few years ago. The large number of messages of sympathy and floral tributes paid homage to the memory of a man whose name will not soon be forgotten in the area where he was a successful farmer during his lifetime and his kindness. generosity and help contributed greatly to church and community welfare.

His many relatives and friends enjoyed visiting his home wlilch was cnllvencd by exceptional hos- pitality and an amiable disposi- tion. He was a man whose years did not. make him grow old and
