Last night tho Minister of Rail- Wavs had disclosed that a million dollars was to be in the supplement- ary estimates for the car ferry ser- vice. How could he justify this violation of the oath of office. Per- haps the new status of Canada would permit this.

Mr. Dunning interrupted to say that he had pointed out last night that he had the permission of the government to make such a state- ment.
