Morrison Senrencep.— Morrison was sentenced at Sherbrooke, onthe llth. He was given eighteen years in the peniten- tiary. When sentence was pronounced there was considerable excitement in the court, and the toreman of the jary exclaim- ed ** My Gud, we never expected such a sentence as that.” Much sympathy was expressed fer the prisoner, who, on being led away, said in a loud firm voice, ** Good bye, my friends, for eighteen years.” Mor- rison was the most composed man in the 90urt room,
