Active in both civic and :n'o- vincial politics. Mr. Allen was elected to the Legislative As- sembly in 1927 and was re-elect- ed in 1931 and 1935. He was a member of both the Lea and Campbell governments. He had also been a member of Summerside and Provincial Boards of Trade and was a member of the board of trust-
