PORTLAND, Ore. (AP)—Yama Bahama, using a steady left hand and his years of ring ex- perience, whipped young Phil Moyer Wednesday night in a 10- round welterweight fight.

It was Bahama’s 64th profes- sional bout, and his 53rd victory.

Bahama, 26, came into the ring at 152'2, while’ Moyer, 21, of Portland, weighed 151'z.

The heavy left hand of Bahama had Moyer's nose reddened and bleeding by the third round. There were no knockdowns, but Moyer was cut and bruised under both eyes_at ‘the end. Bahama’s only mark was a small cut near the left eye.

Judge Andry Crabtree scored it 100-94, judge Ralph Gruman 100-95 and referee Eddie Volk 99-95. All gave the edge to Ba- hama. The AP card was 98-93 for Ba. .ama.
