As an instance of the im- pressiveness of a well bred polled bull. I state without fear of contradiction that the progeny ef 100 horned cows, served with a high-bred Pelied Aberdeen Bull, not one will be other thad black and poiled. This should be a great consideration with shippers, more can be put inte a truck or a feeding court, and no damage by goring.

Dr Gunn says that on Wednesday last he visited Tanner with the intention of advising him to discontinue his fast, but after talking with him, and witing with him for a short time he changed his mind.
