Elder Peterson _ Arrives In City

Elder James Peterson of Lit- tlefield, Arizona, arrived in Char- lottetown on Sunday, February 22nd., to take up his duties with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints (Mormons).

He is taking over for Elder Benny Knudsen who has» been transferred to Maine. Mr. Peter- son joins with Elder Lewis Phelps of Mesa, Arizona to call on the people of Charlottetown. Peterson and Phelps are two of about 7,000 Latter-day Saint mis- sionaries throughout the free world spending two years doing this work at their own expense. Both Peterson and Phelps had

During the lively meeting a committee headed by M. A. Farmer, ‘was appointed to look for a property which would be suitable for a C.N.1.B. Service Centre. Such a Centre is very much needed for this district.

The meeting was adjourtied by the Board passing a motion un- animously extending its appreci- ation to the Lions Clubs for their interest and co-operation ir as- sisting with the cost of eye care for those who are noi in a posi- tion to secure it for themself.
