EASTON, Me. (AP)—A blazing home on a_snow-blocked road was a death trap early Friday for seven persons—a father, five of his.six children and a guest.

John Hersey ,41, a firefighter at Loring air force base and a one-time professional boxer, died with his friend, Carl Lundy, 59, and these Hersey children: John, 12, Victoria, 8, James, 7, Eliza- beth, 5, and Cindy, 4.
