le 15 octobre, afin d'organiser!

Comme il aurait été un peu cenvénieut pour les parents des deux paroisses, de se réunir à la salle à chaque assembiée, il fat décidé que ces réunions auraient lieu dans ia maison d'école de chaque district. ,

La première assemblée eut lieu dans l'école c'e Doiron's Creek le 19 novembres. La ma jorité des parents de ce district et presque tous les instituteurs des deux paroisses étaient pré- sents.

A cause de l'absence de Mons. Jérôme À. Gallant, qui ne pat pas assister, Mons Thecylile Pi- neau fut choisi comme prési- dent. L'assemblée s'ouvrit par u n discours doirné par M. Gallant, dans lequel il don- na un aperçu des cinq conven- tions générales tenues par le; instituteurs français de cette province.
