Reeoverep His Voice. —Thomas Keys, of Wolfe Island, Ont., has recovered his voice in aremarakable manner. Several years ago he received an injury, and hie voice failed him. for damages, but in December he was si-7« ed with la grippe, and after a severe -i ge, recovered, and his voice returned, e+ ciear and strong as ever.
A Correction.—A few days ago there was published by Tue Examiver a paras graph which was intended to show the good work done during the season by Hazelbrook factory. But by mistake the name Hillsborough was printed far Hazel brock, and tbe price obtained for the bvtter sent to the Englieh market was placed at 108s. instead of 100s. The ree meioder of the paragraph was prioted correctly.
Gotpexn Weppixe. Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Robinson, of Brackley Point Road, celebrated their golden wedding on the evening of the 27th ult. The celebration took place at their residence at Brackley Point, and there were about fifty couples present. Speech-making, music and song were the means by which several hours were most enjoyatly passed. A Bie Scueme.—A big scheme is afoot in the Annapolis Valley, no less a preject in factthan the lighting of the whole Valley by electricuy. A company has already been formed with that end in view having for ite head the Hon. the M -nister of Militia. It is proposed to generate the power at the head~waters ef the Gaspereau river, where ameirimum of 500 horse power is always obtaivabie, and to distri- bute the current at a point near Port Wiliam station. Wires will be carried from Windsor to Annapolis with branches toall the outlying towns in the Valley. Power will be supplied to all parties requiring it, the houses and barne of farmers lighted and street lights provided in all the towns between ite terminals. $400,000 is the capital required, the bulk of weich will be supplied, by Montreal Capitalists
