PARIS, April 2 - (AP) - American troops again . crushed enemy attempts today to break out of the Ruhr, where 110,000 Germans are trapped, as British and Can- adian forces i0 the north smashed 15 miles inside Holland and. sped within 68 miles of the German North Sea coast, threatening to seal olf another huge enemy group in the western Netherlands.

In 10 days the British 2nd Army had taken 20,000 cap- tlves and roiled more than 100 miles east of the Rhine. The deepest points announced as reached by British armor, infantry and air-borne troops were Lengericll, nine miles southwest of Osilabrueck, and Ibbenburen, ll miles west of Osnabrueck.

The British troops were beyond these points but secur- ity prevents locating all the areas reached.
