ENVIRONMENTAL CALENDAR: -

Dec — Jan. 26 - A great exhibition of bird. carvings by Prince County wood carvers at the Confederation Centre.

Dec. 28 - The Hillsborough Audubon Christmas Bird Count will be held. Contact Ben Hoteling at 569-5350 to register for one of the count areas. There is an estimated fee of S 5 for all field counters. There Will be no pot-luck alter the count this year.

Dec. 30 - Land and Sea will feature the Institute of Island Studies’ "Like the Back of My Hand', the video on the journals of Geoff Hogan. The show commences at 7:00 pm.

En. 4 - The Society will host the Montague Christmas Bird Count. Contact Gary Schneider at 583-3068 or Ruth Richman at 583-2674 for further information. There is no fee charged.

Jan. 7 - The PEI National Park is inviting interested persons to attend a round table workshop on the National Park Plan. The meeting is scheduled for 1 pm at the Atlantic Veterinary College Faculty Lounge.

Jan. 7 ~ The Natural History Society‘s Annual General Meeting will feature the Society’s annual slide show and a discussion of the Society’s response to the Round Table on Resource Land Use and Stewardship Report. The meeting starts at 7:30 pm. at the Farm Centre on University Avenue.

Jan. 8 - For those who cannot attend on Jan. 7th, the PEI National Park is inviting interested persons to attend a round table workshop on the National Park Plan. The meeting is scheduled for 7 pm at the Department of Fisheries Board Room on University Avenue (next to Charlottetown Mall).
