OTTAWA (CP) — Details of federal government aid to fish- erman who had a serious catch failure in the last season were announced here by Fisheries Minister Robichaud.

To be eligible for the assist- atice, promised Sept. 27 by Prime Minister Pearson, a fish- erman must have at least five weeks with fishing stamps in his unemployment | insurance book that were earned in 1965

Excluded will “be fishermen men with no dependents whe are entitled to more than $150 f unemployment insurance in the 1965- benefit period, and fishermen with dependents and ‘am insurance: entitlement ex e@eeding $200.

Sask, Pulp Mill Said Promised Rates Reduction

REGINA (CP)—The federal government has assured Sas katchewan that steps will be taken. to. rectify discrimination on freight rates for pulp mill products, Premier Ross Thatcher said here.

Mr. Thatcher, speaking to delegates at. the annual meeting of the Saskatchewan Liberal Association, said lengthy nego- tiations for am agreement te establish a pulp mill at Prince Albert Were concluded about a month ago but one obstacle re mained—freight rates.
