The church was becomingly draped. High Mass was eungand the funeral ceremonies performed by the good pastor, Rev. William Phalen. His re- mains were then burne to the cemetery near by, and with loving cure laid to rest to await the final call.

With sad despairiug eyes, they bebold the joy of their lives ani comfort of their eld age, slowly but surely fade away, the evening of her bright young life close in, and their Star of Hope set, to rise in a brighter, purer world, free from sin and acrrow, whither God called her before her fair voung life was shadowed by the troubles ofthis world. After a solemn requiem mas was sung by the Rey. D F. McDon- ald, #ll thet was mortal of Mary Violet Grinsell was laid to rest inthe quiet churchyard ot St. Mary’s, there to await the sounding of the trumpet which shall proclaim this world to be no more.
