‘We're back! This year the En- gineers have reclaimed their rightful place among the giants of literature. We have our own bi- weekly page, something that even Shakespeare didn’t have.

This is the Enginews column. Probably the only half-serious article on this page. Herein we, theEngineers, shall provide you, the not-quite-so-blessed ranks of U.P.E.I. with news of what’s going on in the Engineering society: The titanic struggles for power and influence within the society, the awesome political tactics employed at our weekly parliament and the incredible sub- marine sandwiches Ronnie eats for lunch.

Also, we sometime include secret codes in our Enginews column, messages hidden so cleverly that no one will notice them. CORNBOIL. These mes- sages are our means of communi- cating with our agents in the field.
