Called The Decline and Fall of Lloyd George. the newspaper publisher's book restricts itself to the years 1921-22. This was the period in which the shaky Liberal - Conservative coalition formed by Lloyd George in 1918 disintegrated under the pres- sures of external crises and in ternal intrigue.
