The Legisla:ive Council Election.

Messr* Bovyerk and Leitch were nominated to-day, and the election will take place on Monday next.

There are two good, solid, sufficient and paramount reasons why Mr. Bovyer sheuld be elected.

1. Because it is important that the people should, at every opportunity,show their approval of a careful and economi- cal administration of the affairs of the Province.

2. Because the Government have ad- opted a positive and imperative policy regarding the fulfilment of the Terms of Union, and it is important that the people should show the Government of Canada and the Imperial Government that they are in complete and hearty

unison with the local administration about that matter. We hope to see Mr. Bovyer

elected by a large majority. Let every elector make a good use of hia ‘right to vote.
