Chairman’s closing; message

Winter\Carnival '77 is over. 3As far as I'm concerned it was one of the best 53erfﬁéld4at UPEI. This would not.have been possible without the assistance of a 1ot of good people. A lot of long weary hours went into Carnival '77, and anytime I needed ehlp there was always someone there. I would especially like to thank - Claire Currie, Mike MacMahon and Jim Picone. Claire was ALWAYS there when something had to be_done. Claire spenct more time in the of- fice than anyone else and was usually the only person I could count on when I needed help the mornings after the pubs and bashes. Mike was responsible for the afternoon pubs being such a success. The talent and fashion shows, the Midget Basketball game, Carnival Raffle and his unlimited supply of jokes made Mike practically indispensible. Jim was the wheels of the organization,_he was our gopher. Unfortunately, Jim had an accident with his _ car last week when we were taking the Cadre up to the printers in Summerside. Jim was in charge of the audio visual equipment, he helped with the setting up and cleaning of the gym and he was in charge of the advertising committee.

Deb McMurdo, Chairman of the Social Committee was another valuable member of the Executive. 'Deb &
