A By-Law for Levying and Specifying the Rate of an Assessinent 0 Real Estate and Income in the City of Charlottetown.

E it enacted by the City Council of the City of Charlottetown, as follows:

1. The rate of assessment for the year com- mencing the Ist of Jaunuaary, A. D. 1884, and ending the 3ist December, A. D. 18*4, is hereby specified and fixed at the rate of one cent and one tenth of a cent on every dollar of the value of Real Estate within the City of Charlottetown, according to the valuation of euch Real Estate as assessed by the Assesgors of the said Vity in their valuation rolls of such Real Estate, made, and duly returnel by them, on the ninth day of April, A. D. 1884.

2. The rate of aesessment for the year com- mencing the let day of January, A. D, 1854, aod ending 31st day of December, A. D. 1884, is hereby specified and fixed at the rate of one-half of one per cent. On every dollar of the amount of the net yearly Income, Salaries, or receipts of all persons, parteerships and corporations, as assesved by the Assessors of the said City, in their valuation rolls of such Income, made, and duly returned by them, on the nivuth day of April, A. D, 1884,
