One of the most highly respect- ed resldents of Bloomfield. in the‘ person oi Mrs. William Craswell, passed in her eternal reward on Sunday. after an illness of about three weeks. The late Mrs. Cras- well was in her eightlcth year. She mdde her home with her son, Al- ban and Mrs. Craswell. She was a devoted wife and mother. s loyal and affectionate friend, a splen- did citizen and an earnest and de- vout Christian. The funeral service was held on ‘rucsdsy afternoon st 1.30 from her late .esidence and was conducted by her Minister. Rev. W. G. Dickson who was as- sisted by Rev. J. W. Nowe. ‘Then at 2 pm. the service was held in Bloomfield United Church and was conducted by Rev. W. G. Dickson assisted by Rev. C. O. Hewlett. It. was one of the lsrgut funerals seen in Bloomfield for s long while, ‘ testifying to the esteem and love in which thelate Mrs. Craswell was held by'all who knew her. The spacious Bloomfield Church was filled to overflowing with many sorrowing friends seated in the balcony, .
