For the past six months Mrs. Doull has been confined do her home by an illness which she bore with true Christian patience and although the hest medical attention and tender nursing was bestowed she passed

one car, bfessrs Willard Jordan 511d Russell McBeth were painfully in- lurzd, Mr. McBeth being taken to Montague where his head was found to be so severely cut that it required sixteen stitches to close the wound. Mr. Jordan was brought to the Prince Edward Island Hospital suf- fering from a fractured knee cap. He was reported, resting comfortably last evening. Messrs J. J. McPhee, preventive officer and J. C. McDon- aid, prohibition inspwtors, occup- ants of the other car were badly shaken up. Both cars were damaged beyond repair.

Tenders are being called immed- iately fur the new Charlottetown Forum, and the plans will be ready for the contractors on Wednesday morning. Bids are to be opened- at noon Friday, June 21th. stipulated in the tenders is the condition that the Forum be completed by October" 15th, work to commence on July 1st if possible.

As indicated before, the location selected is on Fitzroy Street, taking in the old Harper factory, the Hoop- er property, and the holdings of six other real estate owners. The new company was incorporated e. few days ago under the name, the Char- lottetown Forum Company, authoriz- ed capital $100,000. Six nurses received their diplomas last evening at the graduation exer- cises cf the Charlottetown Hospital School of nursing held last evening in the hall of Rochford Square School. under the patronage of Rt. Rev. Mgr. J. C. McLean, in the absence of His Lordship Bishop O‘Leary.

The graduating nurses are Misses Mei-y Adeila Gaudet, Virginia Ann McKenna, Mary Florence McInnis, Mary Margaret McDonald, Rose Hel- ena McGuigan and Hazel Dori Keefe.

Dr. G. Harvey Agnew, Secretary of Department Hospital Service, Canad- ian Medical Association, addressed the graduates. Miss Rose McGuigan read the salutatory. Mr. Gunsnulus passed away at Cleveland, Ohio, on Wednesday according to a. message received at the Consulate here. Mr. Gunsaulus had many friends in the city and his passing will be receiv- ed with regret. . HSERIOUS ACCIDENT-Mr. Aus- tin Ross. son of Mr. D. P. Ross, Low- er Montague, whtle operating his po- tato planter, met with a very painful accident. 1t appears that a small bush got stuck in covering discs. In bending backwards to clear the bush,‘ his foot went up on‘ the foot. rest, and in coming back went into the picker chamber, one of the points entering his ankle. If it were not that one of the sprockets broke, his leg would have been terribly mangled. The doc- tor from Montague was hurriedly called in and while the young man will be laid up for some time, the infection is now past. (Be careful boys with all kinds of machinery. cars included.)

The death of Herbert G. Sanderson,

Ingram end Bell, medical supplies, occurred at. the General Public hos- pital. Monday. Mr. Sanderson had made his headquarters in Saint John for the last eighteen years and spent the gi-eeterpart of each year in the Maritimes. Although he had not been in the best of health for some time. he had been seriously ill for only a iveek. Two sons. Melrose and Loren. of Toronto, arrived in Saint John Sunday and were with their father at the end. He also leaves an- other son. Norman._ in Toronto, and one daughter, Gladys, also of Toron- to. ' -
