As the day for the intreauction © the Irish Land Bill approaches deep interest is manifested to learn the ex- act nature of its provisions, but hitherte the secret has been well guarded by the Ministry, Meanwhile reperts from Ballina state that a large number of evietions have taken place on the | property ef a Galway gentleman near | that place during the past few days, ind that some of the scenes were of a pitiable character.
