A meeting was held in the hiasonic Hall recently to discuss music classes. Prof. Jones of Try- cn was present, and explained how the classes could be started. It was decided to have Prof. Jones con- duct an adult class on Friday eve- nings and teach singing in the school. It is hoped pupils, teachers and parents will co-operate with Prof. Jones in this new enter- prise.

The offering was received and ' dedicated. The Candle Lighting service was very nicely presented. A table with the Globe and five candles was in the centre of the room. Mm. liePaxe was leader, and taking part in the service was Mrs. J. S. McLeod. Mrs. Ripley. Mrs. Cyril Smith, Mrs. J. E. Cousins arid Mrs‘. Seaman. As each candle was being lit recollections were brought of fellow Christians Ln North America, south America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
The circle of prayer and Bene- diction brought this part of the meeting to a close.
