EUBIN TUPLIN, now of No, 64:, Nelson Street, LiverpOOI, in the County of Lancaster, out of business. but previously thereto of Margate, in Prince Edward Island, in British North America, Merchant and Ship Builder, having been adjudged Bankrupt under a Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy filed in Her Majesty’s Court of Bankruptcy for the Liverpool Dis- trict, at Liverpool, on the 'I‘hirty-first day of December, 1867, is hereby required to surrender himself to a. {egistrar of the said Court at the First Meeting of Creditors, to be held before the said Registrar, on the Twenty-fourth day of February, 1868, at Eleven o’clock in the Itrenoon precisely, at the Distlict Court at Liverpool. Charles Turner, Esq, of Central Chambers, South Castle Street, Liverpool, is the oflicial Assignee, and Messrs. Evans. Roose, and Lockett, of Commerce Chambers, Lord Street, Liverpool, the Solicitors, acting in the Bankruptcy.

A Public Sitting will be appointed by the Court for the said Bankrupt to pass his Last Examination, of which Sitting due notice will be given in the London Gazette. At the said first Meeting of Creditors, the Registrar will Ieceive theProofs of debts of theCreditors, and the Creditors Inay,cl"Ioose an Assignee or ASsignecs ot'the Bankrupt’s Estate and Etl‘ects. At the Public Sitting, Proofs of debts of Creditors will also be re- ceiVed; and the said Bankrupt will be required to sub- mit himself to be examined, and to make a. full disclosure and discovery of all his Estate and Ell’ccts, and to finish his Examination.

Notice Is also hereby given to all persons indebted to the said Bankrupt, or that have any of his Effects, not to deliver the same but to the Official Assignce, whom the Court has appointed in that behalf, and give notice to the Solicitor acting in the Bankruptcy.

this day pleased to fix and determine the rate at which the amount of the Invoice of Dutiable Goods, imported into this Island from the United States of America, shall, in es- timating the duties payable thereon, be reduced into current money of this Island, as follows 2—-

In all cases where such Invoices shall be made out in Del-- lars and cents of the paper currency of the United States, the amount of such Invoice shall be reduced mto current; money of this Island, by allowing for each Dollar the sum of FOUR SHILLINGS AND SIX—PENCE, and m the like proportion for any fraction of a Dollar, of which all Collectors of Impost are to take notice and govern thema selves accordingly.
