Flight Cadet -Dennis was born June 21. 1930 at Arlington. P. E. I.. but his family moved to Port Hill one year later.
He attended the local school un- til 1946. then Prince of Wales Col- lege, Charlottetown. He later taught school for a year at Bedeque and another year at Ellerslle. Following this he returned to Prince of Wales College for his junior matricula- tion. and for a short time was em- ployed as it technician with the Bryant Electric Company and the Nova Scotia Light and Power Com- panv. He joined the R.C.A.F. at.- Hallfax in 1952.
Tomorrow, January 16th.. he will be married to Julie MacLeod of Ncrtham. After a lt0Tl0fl of leave he has been posted to a survival course at Edmonton and then to Sea Island. B.C.

Prospective Candidates In S'side Election
Tuesday. January 27th, will be nomination clay in Summerside and there is a vacancy in each of the three wards which will have to be filled, due to the retirement of Councillor Schurman in the East Ward, Councillor Sheen in the Center ward and Councillor Dris- coll in the West Ward.
Current tumors in Summerside mention a. number of prospective candidates but an actual survey of the field made last night indicated that in the East Ward, Mr. Donald Lldstone, son of former Mayor W. J. Lidstonc, was the only one who would definitely state his intention of entering his name on nominat- ion day. Mr. George T. Clarke. jeweller. who has been mentioned as a possible candidate said last night that it was definitely not his intention to offer.
In the Center. Dr. H. E. Clark and Mr. Amos l-lubley both stated that they have decided to enter the contest. Mr. Ross MacKenz.le stat- ed that he had no comment to make at the present time.
In the West Ward, Mr. William Corney said that although he had not definitely decided to nominate he would come to a decision in a matter of a few days!

Reports from the various organizations of the church were read and general satisfaction expressed over the ac- complishment made during the past year.
