More than 328.000 speckledl trout. rainbow trout and Atlan-l tic salmon were released in ap-‘ proximately 60 streams in Kings County in 1962, and it Is expected a similar number will be released in these, streams this year. This infor-. mation was given at a meeting" of the fisheries officers for Kings, and members of the Cardigan fish culture station.
The meeting, was held in the offices of the department of fisheries, Montague, Chairman for the meeting was Thaddeus Shephard. assistant to the sti- perintendent. Stanley Freeman at the hatchery.
Present for the meeting were members of the Southern Kings Fish and Game Association, the Eastern Kings Fish and Game Association. and RCMP game warden Cnst. I.W.. Oland.
