Rev. E. Evans presented the report of the Committee appointed to prepare a case for the Conrt of Appeal respecting the fatatus of Rev. F. W. Moore sand Dr, Johnson. The report was received.
On motion of Rev. J. Burwash it was resolved to discuss the matter.
Many brethzen took part, including Revs. Henry Daniel, C. H. Paisley, A. M., Dr. Pickard, Dr. Stewart and others. The matter was laid over until the next session.
A motion for adjournment prevailed, after which the President made announce- ments for the committees.
The benediction was pronounced by the President.
KIGHTH DAY—THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
After singing ‘‘Sow in the morn thy seed,’ Rev. G. B. Payson led in prayer. tev. John Read presidivg. Journal read and adopted. On motion of Rev. C, H. Paisley, A. M., the question respecting the relation which Rev. F. W. Moore and Dr. Jchnson was disposed of for the present by referring it to the Conference Special Committee to repert to next Conference. Conference then spent a little time in devotional exercises. After singing ‘‘I need thee every hour,” Rev. William Dobson prayed.
Then tha Conference sang “For ever here my rest shall be,” prayer was made by Rev. 8. H Rice. Then the President pro- nounced the benediction.
Evening Session.
Rev. Job Shenton presided. After prayer the Journal was adopted.
Before the regular session of Conference was held, there was a special ministerial session.
In the matter of a minister against whom a charge had been niade, and upon whose case a court had sat and sustained the charge, but from which decision he had appealed, the decision of the court of appeal was that he have a new trial. Bat until such trial takes place, he is to rest under the suspension pronounced upen him by the former trial. In accordance with such decision his name will be dropped from the printed minutes, awd entered upon the Journal as suspended pending trial.

The Jamaica delegation addressed the Chamber of Commerce here yesterday. They pointed out that either Jamaica must get Reciprocity with Canada or the United States, If it gets Reciprocity with the latter, Canada will be absolutely driven out of Jamaica’s market; but under a Reci- procity treaty Canada will get anew market for two millions of goods, and a gconstantly growing trade. This is & vital question to the farmers.

The Northwest Rebellion | Orrawa, June 26.
The permanent militia force in the North- west is to be increased to two thousand men.
Parliament has voted seventeen million dollars mere towards the Northwest re- bellion expenditure. Nearly a half million of this amount goes to the Hudson Bay Company for supplies and transportation.
A Steamboat Disaster. Livrra, Jane 26.
The steamer Italy was lost on the South American coast. Forty people were drowned, The disaster occurred near Lyall. Most of the passengers and crew wera saved. The third eflticer, who was responsible for the disaster, committed suicide.
