a Chrysler franchise and will be selling Plymouth. Valiant. Chrysler cars and Fargo trucks. The dealer has been es- tablished in Souris since 1954 and up to this time has been iselling another brand of vehic- es.

Part of the change is due to two Alberta businessmen who erected a steel foundry on .Mac- ieold’s abandoned airfield last fall .
The plant is turning out eight to 10 tons of steel castings a day. co-owner George Barrett said in an interview. Within a year he expects production to jump to 50 tons. At that time he expects to increase his staff to 100 men from the present 20.
Less than a year ago the busi- ness was simply the untried idea of Mr. Barrett and his partner, W. M. Thorvaldson.
“We‘re really rolling here now." said Mr. Barrett. with the enthusiasm of a man who has seen a pet project suc- ceed beyond even his own ex~ pectations.
