Returns from 1812 election districts in New York State, outside the cities of New York and Brooklyn, give Blaine 396,550, Cleveland 339,162. This leaves 1,295 votes ro be obtained by Blaine to equal Cleve- land’s majority in New York City and Brooklyn. ;
