Next week, the Department of Health will be conducting disease prevention clinics in all City Schools. Spring Park and Parkdole Schools will also be included.

Commencing this year, all babies six months of age and over m. be given "Triple" protection against Diphtheria, Whooping cough and Tetanus. Children over five years will be protected rgainst Diphtheria only.

MR. HENRY JIUGHES

'1‘.he sudden death of Mr. Henry Hughes occurred on February 11, 194a at his hcme in Charlottetown. Henry (llop). as lie was known to his many irlends. was enjoying very good health the past year and his sudden death coma as a great shock to his relatives and iriends.

Mr. Hughes was the ion 0,! the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hughes at Bcotchtort- Mr. Hughes lived tor a number at years at, his birth- place where he gained o large cir- cle of friends. He then moved to Charlottetown and resided hero until the time of his death.

lle was of a kind and genial dis- position and was known at. all times in be charitable and upright to his iellc-nmen. He was admin. istered the last rites of the Roman Catholic Church of which he was a. true and worthy member by Rev. David McTaguc.

'I‘hc funeral took place on Fob- ruar-y 13. to St. Dunstan’: Basilica. Interment was in the Roman Cath- olic cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs. John 1". Lelghtlzer. Joseph A. Hughes, [peter O'Donnell, Wil- liam Leclair, John Callaghan and Alfred Watts.

As in previous years a senior hockey. football and. basketball teem were financed and entered in its respective league.
