We talked briefly with hockey coach John Kane

& he tells us that there will be about 40 players trying out for the team. He thinks of this year as more of a reshuffle rath— er than a rebuilding al- though there are lots of‘ new fades to meld in with the strong holdovers from. last season. We are glad to see hometojn players Jerry McCarron & Carl Trainor back with us af- ter an effective sojourn with U.N.B. our biggest loss,other than the exp- ected graduations is Steve Van Deist who is defecting to S.M.U. Steve is one of our favorite players &
