Loxpon, Oct 18.—A terrible accident has oscurred on the Great Central Railroad, near Barnet, eleven miles from London. The express train going ata mile a minute came into collision witha freight train that was switching across the track at Barnet Junction,

The express piled up a complete wreck. Nine dead and thirteen seriously injured have been recovered from the wreckage and there are others under the debris.

In a series of Charges to the clergy, de- livered this week, the primate speaks in po uncertain voice. He caused a pro- found impression in church circles and deeply aggreived the low church party.
