It was the third bout. between the pair. Durelle lost. the title to Harper in Calgary and later fought a. dnw in the same city.
Before their third meeting, the 23-year-old Harper fought 43 times alnce starting his career in 1948 and lost. only two decisions, both to heavyweights. He is ranked sec- ond among British Cunmonwealth llghtwelghts.
Durelle. 24, has had more than 100 professional bouts. One of his five looses was to an outstanding Brooklyn battlar, Fioyn Patterson.
He made his ring debut seven years ago. The durable Durclle recaptured
