Public Meeting at Caledonia.

A large meeting was held in the Caledonia schoclhouse, on Wednesday evening, the lst inst., Mr. Duncan McLean in the chair, and the undersigned Secretary.

The meeting was addressed at length by Messrs. Munn and Nicholson, as well as by several electors.

Mr. Nicholson was proposed by Mr. Murdeck Mekae, and seconded by Mr. Ronald McLean.

Mr. Munn was proposed by Mr. Roderick

At the close of the meeting a vote of thanks was tendered to the chairman, and three cheers given for the Queen and Mr. Nicholson.
