'I‘o Archibald MacIntosh. of Lot or Township Num- ber Fourteen, in the said Island, farmer; Alexander Macintosh, now or lately resident in Texas, and James Macintosh. of Saint John, in the province of New Brunswick, Hotel keeper, being sons and heirs at law of the said deceased, and to all other heirs, statutory claim- ants, legal representatives and other parties that may be interested in the said Estate, Greeting:

Whereas. Annabella Macintosh of said Lot or Town- ship, the Wife of John McIntosh, of said Lot, farmer, and daughter of the said deceased, hath this day filed a Petition, setting forth that the said late John Macintosh, died intestate, and was in his lifetime seized and posess- cd of One hundred acres (f Land and upwards, situate on said Let or Township, with the premises and appnr- tenances thereunto belonging. and praying that com- missioners might be appointed for the purpose of making a division ol the said Land and premises, with the ap- purtenances, according to the statute in such case. made and provided ; and whereas, James Campbell, Esquire, the Guardian, appointed by this Worshipful Court, of John Archibald Macintosh, a minor, the representative of ﬁve shares of the said land—the whole to be divided into nine shares. ha'h ﬁled his consent, in writing, to the appointment of the said commissioners. Now, there- fore, I do hereby order that you the said Archibald Macintosh, Alexander MacIntosh and James Macintosh, and each of you, and all other parties interested in the said estate, do appear before me at the Court House, in the Colonial Building, in Charlottetown, in the said Island, on Wednesday, the tWenty-ninth day of April, instant. at Eleven o’clock, in the l’orcuoon of the same day. to show cause (if you or they can), why the division of the said land and premises, with the appurtenances. should not be made by ﬁve capable persons, upon oath, or by any three of them that may be then and there appointed, and sworn by me among the said heirs at law of the said deceased. or their legal representatives. according to. and under and by virtue of the statutes of the Island aforesaid, in such case made and provided,

And I do further order, that a true copy of this order be published in the Royal Gazette Newspaper. for the said island, for at least three consecutive weeks from the date hereof, and that a true copy of this order. written or printed, be posted up respectively in the Hall of the said Colonial Building and in the Court House at Saint Eleanors. in the said Island; also, that a true copy of this order be forthwith served upon the said Archibald MacIntosh, and also. that a c0py of the said Royal Gazette containing this order printed therein, be di- rected respectively to the said Alexander Macintosh, at his last known place of abode, and to the said James Macintosh. at his residence. and forwarded forthwith through the General Post Ofﬁce. at Charlottetown, aforesaid. and that such publication in the said Royal Gazette, such notiﬁcation osted up as aforesaid, such service upon the said Are ibald Macintosh, and such Royal Gazette being directed and forwarded as afore- said. shall be deemed a sutlicient service of this order upon the said Archibald Macintosh, Alexander Mac- Intosh and J ames MacIntosh. or any of them,

ROAD COMPENSTION ACT. PUBLIC NOTICE. HEREAS, a commission has been issued, directed to us. under and by virtue of an Act passed in the fourteenth year of the reign of Her present Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled, “An Act to regulate the lay- ing out and altering of Highways, and of the Acts in amendment thereof.” whereby we are commanded to enquire what damage or advantage will accrue to those persons who are interested in the land through which a Certain new road is intended to be made, commencing at the South-west Road, Lot 26. at the line dividing farms owned by Mr. John McKever and John Smith, running North until it meets land owned by Nicholas J. Brown, Esq, thence to his mills. Now. we do hereby give Public Notice to all parties that we will commence the exeCution of the said Commission by attending at Brown’s Vale Mills, Lot 26, on the twenty-eighth day of April next, at the hour of ten o’clock, in the forenoon of the same day, and from thence we will prOCeed along the said new line of road, and complete the inquest according to law. Y virtue of a writ of Statute Execution, to me di- rected, issued out of Her Majesty’s Supreme Court of Judicature, at the suit of William Sanderson against John Wilson and James \Vilson, I have taken and seized as the property of the said John Wilson and James \Vilson, all the Right,Title, and Freehold Inter- ‘ est of the said John Wilson and James Wilson, in and to one hundred, (100) acres of land together with the buildings, and appurtenances, thereunto belonging. in possession ot the said John Wilson and James Wilson, sntuate on Township number Fifty three, (53). in King’s County, and I do hereby give Public Notice. that I will, on Wednesday, the 14th day of October, A. D. 1868, at the hour of 12 o’clock. noon, at the Court House, in Georgetown, in the said County, setup and sell at Public Auction, the said property, or as much thereofas will satisfy the levy marked on the said writ, being for the sum of Eighty pounds snx shillings and four pence, (£80 6 4,) debt and costs, with interest on (£76 3 0) from the 21st day of February.
